Fort Scratchley temporary closure

Fort Scratchley will be temporarily closed from 18 May 2025 for approximately three weeks while we carry out essential works to replace the historic bridge.

We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you back soon with improved access and the same stunning views.

Opening hours

Fort Scratchley is open 10am to 4pm, six days a week, with last entry at 3:30pm. The Fort is closed on Tuesdays.

General admission to Fort Scratchley is free.

Guided Tunnel Tours can be booked and pre-paid on the Tours page.

The Fort is closed on the following days:

Good Friday
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
New Year's Day

The Fort Scratchley Function Centre is a private venue and only open to event guests during their organised event times.
