Projects and Works

Every year we deliver projects that renew and reinvigorate Newcastle as we continue to build an inclusive, liveable and sustainable city.

Almost $140 million has been earmarked for investment into local facilities and infrastructure projects as part of the 2024/25 Budget. It includes our largest annual capital works program to date, with more than 280 projects and 170 actions planned across the city.

Our Delivery Program and Operational Plan reflects our integrated approach to support the Newcastle 2040 Community Strategic Plan.
