Our cultural institutions

Newcastle Museum: Newcastle Museum is located at Honeysuckle in Workshop Way. The Museum is free and is open Tuesday to Sunday.

Newcastle Art Gallery: Newcastle Art Gallery is the custodian of one of Australia's most substantial public art collections outside the major capital cities.

Newcastle City Hall: Opened in 1929, Newcastle City Hall is one of Newcastle's most unique and prestigious venues.

Civic Theatre: The Civic Theatre Newcastle is one of Australia's great historic theatres and hosts a wide range of concerts, comedy, drama, dance and other events.
