Youth Week is on again from Wednesday 9 to Thursday 17 April 2025! Watch this space for The NSW Youth Advisory Council's announcement of this year's theme.

National Youth Week celebrates young people and their contribution to their local communities. It is now the largest annual youth participation event in Australia. Youth Week is a week to celebrate young people and provide them with opportunities to express their views and act on issues that affect their lives.

Applications for Newcastle Youth Week Grants 2025 are now open!

As part of our recognition of the value that Young People contribute to our city, the City of Newcastle runs an annual grants program to support organisations in the Newcastle LGA that will partner with and support young people in running events and activities, through skill development and/or mentoring. Read the Youth Week 2025 Grant Guidelines and apply online.

Applications close at midnight 26 January 2025.
