Report issues related to unattended pets or animals causing a nuisance in the community, including excessive noise, property damage and aggressive behaviour.
Stray dog
If you've found a stray dog, report it here so we can help keep it safe and reunite it with its family.
Dog attack
If a dog has attacked you, your pet, or another person, you can report it here.
Barking dog
If you are experiencing issues with a barking dog, you need to:
- Raise the issue directly with the dog owner
- Seek assistance from the Community Justice Centre to mediate with the dog owner on your behalf
- Keep a log of the actions you've taken to address the issue and the frequency/length of time that the dog barks
If the issue persists after conducting these steps, submit a request including a log of actions taken and details of the barking activity.
Unleashed dog
Report unleashed dogs in public places so we can take appropriate action, such as increasing patrols or adding signage.
Nuisance bird or livestock
Report aggressive birds or straying livestock for investigation.

Update desex status
If your pet dog or cat has been desexed and you need our assistance to update their status on the NSW Pet Registry, please notify us. You'll need to provide proof of your pet's desexing.
Deceased pet
If your pet cat or dog has sadly passed away, you must notify the relevant authorities within 28 days. To arrange this, either:
- Update your pet's status on the NSW Pet Registry to 'deceased', or
- Complete the following online form so that we can update the register on your behalf
