Façade Improvement

Façade Improvement grants are to improve building facades and create active frontages in the city, sensitive to heritage, evoking pride, enhancing our city’s presentation, and engaging the community in local and neighbourhood centres revitalisation.

• Round opens: 3 June 2024 at 9am (AEST) 
• Round Closes: 30 June 2024 at 11:59pm (AEST) 

$1,000 - $5,000 (ex GST).

Two thirds of the quoted cost provided by City of Newcastle up to $5,000. The applicant must pay the remaining third of the cost.

Painting, brick pointing, facade repairs, lighting upgrades, fencing repairs and landscaping.
