
Special Bulk Waste Collection - May 2025 Storm Event
Our special kerbside bulk waste service is only for waste directly resulting from the May 2025 storm event, including:
- Water-damaged furniture and household items
- Carpets and soft furnishings affected by floodwaters
- Mattresses affected by floodwaters
- Building material debris from flood damage
- Garden waste from fallen trees and branches
- Fridges and freezers affected by the storm (note: fridges/freezers must be empty)
- Household appliances and e-waste affected by the storm
It does not cover:
- General household rubbish
- Asbestos*
- Hazardous chemicals*
- Old furniture or appliances not damaged by the storm
- Renovation or construction waste unrelated to flooding
- Electronics or whitegoods not affected by the storm
- All other types of household items and bulky wastes not damaged by, or arising from, the storm
*Please contact us on 4974 2000 for options to dispose of hazardous waste.
