Owner Builders

Owner-builder permits are issued by the Department of Fair Trading. To find out more about the process and gaining a permit go to the Department of Fair Trading.

If you are an Owner Builder and the cost of building works is greater than $10,000 you will be required to gain a permit from the Department of Fair Trading.
